To mark the 125th anniversary of the Mont,
a book is being professionally produced about the history of the competition.
This will include information on every final since 1897, including today’s, as well as stories of the characters, teams and people who have featured in its long and proud history.
We are aiming to have the publication available in time for Christmas and profits will go to the Mexborough Montagu Hospital Comforts Fund.
You can ensure your name, or that of a loved one, is recorded in this mammoth tribute to the competition by registering an interest in buying a copy – as well as receiving a discount on the cover price.
Additionally, local companies and businesses can support this publication with their logo included within the pages for a £30 donation.
