Cyril Roebuck of Goldthorpe scored both goals for DMW in this final. 
Cyril played football in the army and settled in Bolton-on-Dearne.  He had his own bodywork repair business.

There is no photo of the actual team who lost in the Easter Monday final to Dearne CMW - Jackie Thompson was injured in the Easter Saturday Challenge Cup final and was replaced by 15 years old Mexborough Tech schoolboy Mick Lidster.

​The reports below (and above) were written by BRIAN HILL.  He documented every match that he played for the Old Boys of Mexborough Technical College between 1955 and 1961.  This included a Montagu Cup win in 1957 and finalists in 1956.
Ken Wyatt has donated all these, after receiving them from Walt West's family.  Bob Wakefield had posted them to Walt.
