Harry played alongside his brother, William Percival Newey (pictured, born 1924) 
Bill's son, John also played a lot of football. .


Harry's grandson, Peter, also played elite football.

Harry worked at Manvers Main.  An accident whilst at Manvers resulted in a broken foot and ankle.  This in turn led to a blood clot, which Harry died from aged 53.
