A. They both scored Cup final hat-tricks in 1966!

Peter was playing for the mighty High Terrace, a club so strong their "B team" formed the opposition in the semi-final.
​
In the final, Maltby Miners' Welfare were held to a 2-2 draw. In the replay, High Terrace, with 3 goals from Davies, coasted through 5 goals to 1.
​
Later, Peter went on to win the Player of the Year for High Terrace.
​
