1965 Public company - greatly oversubscribed offer for sale of shares. Sales of gas boilers had expanded in past 5 years so much that they accounted for 70 percent of turnover
1969 Merged with the much larger Stelrad to form Hattersley Stelrad, which was 41 percent owned by Hattersley. Hattersley Stelrad was (re)floated on the Stock Exchange
1970 Introduced Verona back boiler
1971 Name changed to Stelrad Group
