George "Shudder" Laycock
George Laycock scored the only goal in the 1971 Montagu Cup final for Northcliffe WMC.
George was known as 'Shudder' to his friends at Cadeby pit and in Denaby. He was a fine footballer and perhaps should have had an opportunity to play at an elite level.
George's widow, Liz, has provided these photographs.
