In March 1918 it was decided to revive the competition and invite 4 clubs to play for the cup. The final went to 3 replays with Mexboro Rovers beating Denaby Misson 2-0 in the last one.
1918 final (third replay) was played Sat 25 May 1918 at Denaby United. The previous games, I only found brief mentions for, along the lines of 'match was drawn and will be replayed again', rather than any full reports. The first game was played at Mexboro though on Sat 11 May, first replay Sat 18 May at Denaby, second replay Tues 21 May at unknown venue.
The History of DUFC suggests that there was only one replay. The first match was 1-1 and DUFC lost the replay 2-1.
